We’re getting ready for Hallowe’en this week at Tot Spot. The kids, and some of the parents/caregivers will be dressing up. We’ll see costumes, candy, crafts, and even a cool experiment based on a Hallowe’en Theme.
Here are some more ‘Not-So-Spooky’ Hallowe’en crafts and activities for you to try out at home.
Paper Plate Pumpkin
Let your toddlers make their very own jack-o-lantern with construction paper pieces and an orange paper plate with this activity by Georgina from Craftulate
Glow in the Dark Doodle Paint
These Make-Your-Own Doodle Paints will be a lot of fun for the little ones to explore with. Link via Growing a Jeweled Rose
Spider Web Garland
This craft requires yarn, glue, wax paper, and glitter, and the results are artfully spooktacular (yet still, not so spooky!) This craft is via Jessica and Za at Scrumdilly-do! Alternatively, you could paint the webs onto the wax paper with sparkly puffy paint.
Free Hallowe’en Paper Doll printables
These little paper dolls are fun for older children with the dexterity to manipulate the small paper costumes. This is a free printable from Babalisme
Itsy Bitsy Spider Lacing Card
We love crafts that also let the kids practice small motor skills like cutting and lacing. This cute craft does just that. By Sara at Momendeavors
Pumpkin Hunt and Sorting activity
This pumpkin hunt has two types of fun for the kids, first they find all the pumpkins you’ve hidden around the house, then they sort them (two activities that kids love.) Thanks to Rachel at I Heart Crafty Things
